The 2021 OFFSHORE Class 3D World Championship “FIM Sardinia Grand Prix” will take place from the 22nd to the 26th of September 2021 in Sardinia, with 5 days full of sport and excitement. Cagliari will be the city to host the event, as it best expresses the Mediterranean atmosphere made of art and history, sea and natural reserves, comfort and great food!
The location, the capital of Sardinia, is distinguished by stunning historical areas, shopping streets, picturesque panoramic terraces and a view of the sea, the star of our event! Also, natural beauties and sights are incomparable and unique: amazing bays, aquamarine waters, natural reserves and beautiful corners will be the backdrop for the 2021 Offshore World Championship.
Marina Piccola will be the exact place where the event takes place, a wonderful small port located in the city’s gulf, at the foot of the promontory known as “Stella del Diavolo”. Races will take place along the Poetto’s coastline (Poetu in sardinian dialect), which is 6 km long and includes a beach called “Spiaggia dei Centomila” (beach of a hundred thousand) due to the amount of swimmers present during summer months.
Now that the location of the 2021 Offshore World Championship “FIM Sardinia Grand Prix” has been revealed, we are excited to wait for the official start, which will be on Wednesday, 22 September 2021.
